The Limpopo Department of Health is celebrating a major boost in specialist medical expertise following the latest College of Medicine of South Africa (CMSA) graduation ceremony, where several of our doctors achieved specialist qualifications and advanced academic milestones.
This achievement not only strengthens the province's ability to deliver quality healthcare but also reaffirms the Department's commitment to addressing critical specialist shortages, especially in rural areas.
The newly qualified specialists are;

Paediatrics: Dr Maake (Tshilidzini Hospital)
Psychiatry: Dr Mojela (Thabamoopo Hospital)
These appointments are a direct win for the province, improving capacity in child health, surgical anaesthesia, and mental health services.

Dr Sikhau - Family Medicine Specialist, W.F. Knobel Hospital
